How do you grow your affiliate program

How do you grow your affiliate program ?

1. Write down your affiliate product description. Put special attention into its content and make sure that it clearly describes both what the product does and how the user can benefit from using it. Be specific about how it works and what makes it unique.

2. Create some landing page with a clear call-to-action button. This way people know exactly where they have to go and buy your affiliate product. Make sure that your offer is relevant to the product you're promoting.

3. Start collecting emails of interested customers. Send them offers related to your affiliate products but don't spam!

4. Build a list of affiliates. You'll need a good quality email service like MailChimp or Aweber to send newsletters to your subscribers.

5. Promote your affiliate program! Facebook ads are the best option to spread the word of your affiliate program.

6. Track your results. Measure your conversion rate via tools like Google Analytics. If you notice that your visitors aren't converting at the same rate as other affiliate programs, then try changing your structure. Experimenting with different designs and layouts might help.

7.  Tracking - You're going to need a way to measure success. Whether you are looking for simple clicks or actual conversions, you'll want to make sure you know what happened. Look into analytics packages like Google Analytics to help measure traffic, conversions, and revenue.

8. Marketing - Create a marketing strategy that creates awareness about your business, products, or services. Include a variety of marketing channels, including but not limited to ads, social media, SEO/SEM, paid search, email campaigns, etc. It's important to understand what works for other companies & create a plan.

9.  Affiliate Structure - You'll need a structure for affiliates to join. This can range from having a website where they can signup, through your own custom software. Make sure this is something you have created and have tested before implementing across the board.

10.  Loyalty Program - A loyalty program should motivate customers to come back for repeat purchases or referrals. Reward loyal customers for their continued involvement with discounts, special promotions, free trials, exclusive items, or any number of ways to keep them engaged.

11. Payment System - Determine how you will pay affiliates, whether monthly, annually, etc. Most companies take either a percentage of sales or a specific amount of money from each sale. Decide if you want to charge fees at all, and if so, how much?

12.  Reporting - How will you track results? This includes how many people joined, what action was taken (e.g., click-throughs), what conversion rate occurred, etc. Depending on what type of product or service you are selling, you may decide to use third party tools, or build it yourself.
